Agreed. New Surrender initially grabbed me by the balls and didn't let go in the progression department. The few good songs, were better than a lot of songs on cities but the record as a whole didn't feel complete from start to finish like cities did. Jimmy eat world suffered the same thing in chase this light as opposed to futures which was a complete and awesome record. Good call.

They're gonna go back to the Cities feel for this new record, bigger songs with more epic/heavy sounds. Can't wait to hear new stuff.

Yes this! Looking forward to new material, this is great news.

No band can make as eager for new material as Anberlin. NS was a solid LP to market to the mainstream, plenty of hooky hits, but I'll be happy if they start mixing elements from Cities and NTFP back in.

Color me stoked.
