Panima isn't back. Basically it seems like they didn't know what to call themselves yet but some of the guys from Panima got back together with some other random guys to make different music. It says on MySpace "New Band | New Name | New Music" I'm pretty sure that means this isn't going to be like Panima other than the fact that a few of the members used to be in Panima.
the singer made this band. dude was super talented. The other guys went on to douche style bands, like Burning Tree, charging kids to play local shows, when they couldn't draw. Panima definitely can rebuild their fanbase, but the name is just a way to bring back the old glory that their new bands just couldn't replicate.
Another band that can pack Chain, and no where else. Much like Call The Cops.
Know what's funny? When a major-label band replaces a member - either for a few months or indefinitely - PEOPLE STILL SUPPORT THEM. They buy CDs, get shirts, go to shows. Why do most people seem hellbent against giving their new singer, who's mother effing incredible, a chance. Go listen to his voice before you decide The Fro made the band.
Jon Esposito has one of the CLEANEST voices ever. Go listen to the new stuff.
Now you guys'll actually have a band who can write their own music.
