I don't think its gotten particularly worse, the hijinks just get super repetitive after a while. They need to bring something new to the table instead of repeating the same basic episode over and over again. Its just become predictable at this point. But if I were to go back in watch them I'm not sure the first season would be that much better than this one.

They never confirmed or denied it being a stunt but all the major entertainment sites etc all pretty much said it was a stunt
