Amen.

Love ya Steve.

I personally don't hear a lot of Facing New York in YouInSeries. Might just be me.

Hey Scottie.

Yeah I am not saying they are dead ringers, but the vocals sound similar at times, and the general "mood" of the songs here reminds me a bit of the darker stuff on Facing New York. By and large, though, if you like one, I would think you'd like the other.

I think both are very comparable and worth buying.

Depends what you like - guy/girl vox a la Straylight, but a lot more rock, then go with Forecast. Overall, they are a little poppier. If you like the bands I named off, then go with YIS.

good review. i'm really hesitant on buying this album from the songs i've heard on their purevolume. i have the exact opinion as you on them... they just seem to be holding back and there is just something missing to make those songs great. i do love their style of music tho so i'll probaby pick it up just out of curiosity

Yeah, I mean some songs are just plain awesome, but I would love to hear their singer testing his range and could stand to hear some more riffs/standout guitar parts. It is kind of cool since it is subdued, but it would be good to have little flashes of energy nonetheless.

Regardless, it is definitely worth the money - quite a solid album, and it has a good amount of lasting appeal.

Circa is waaaaay better because they did it first. I have no qualms about this band but I have to argue that The Militia Group has a scizophrenic label. Ummm, just about all of their bands are versed in your basic pop-rock. Even the ones that are a bit out there such as Appleseed or Jealous Sound still find their roots in pop-rock music. Along with that a ton of their bands sound the same. I like the label and many of their bands, I just really have to disagree.

And, EVR is probably a lot more diverse than TMG. You can go from a radio-friendly band like Armor For Sleep to hardcore legends like Bane to weirder than weird Animals Fighting to this darker rock like Circa and back to hardcore roots of Betrayed or to the modern day metalcore of Chiodos. Just a lot more diverse.
