If you're a pop-punk band, have annoying screams, think Blink 182 is greatest gift to music ever, enjoy crunkcore or, basically, most of the bands that probably post on this site, I wouldn't bother submitting.

I highly doubt these dudes are going to be picking New Found Glory sound-alikes to open for them.

That's true, but we have a lot of indie type and post-rock/ambient bands that post around here as well. I'm sure there will be tons of viable submissions

I don't think my band'd fit very well in this... too heavy... but I'll definitely tell my friend's band to sign up.

wish i was in a band to enter, although i am going to see the winner of the la date cuz i got my mew ticket already. hope they pick a chingon one.

Yeah, I agree and I figure there would be. Just trying to help weed out the bands who have no chance.
