LOS ANGELES — NOV 3, 2009 — PacSun, the clothing store inspired by the California lifestyle is gearing up for tour kick-off this Friday (11/6) in Los Angeles, CA at the House of Blues and tickets are on sale now here. Saosin, P.O.S., Innerpartysystem, and Eye Alaska as well as local battle of the band contest winners will be performing on each date.

Each band is preparing for the trek in their own way but all are equally excited to hit the road with one another. Orange, CA’s Eye Alaska singer Brandon Wronski says, “I grew up listening to Saosin and going to their shows since junior high so this years PacTour is like a dream come true. Being able to tour with a band that helped get me into music as a kid is the best feeling ever. The diversity in the line-up is really what drew me in. Everything from Saosin to P.O.S. I have always said that "the genre is a thing of the past in the music of the future", and this tour just proves it. People are starting to catch on to that idealism, but it will take time.”

"I love touring with different kinds of bands, says P.O.S.. That’s really what this tour is about for me is playing in front of crowds that don't expect us to sound like we do, and aren’t ready- then making them ready,” said P.O.S. “Innerpartysystem and Saosin are good friends of mine from previous tours. I like the wide range of styles represented in the lineup, and it’s even better to have friends around. But really what it’s gonna be about for me is finding the people in the room who have never seen a hip hop show and trying to melt their faces off with rap."

Innerparysystem says, "We are really excited for the PacTour! After spending the entire summer on the Vans Warped Tour, we became great friends with both P.O.S. and the guys in Saosin. We are definitely amped to spend the next two months playing shows with great friends on a really cool tour."

If InnerPartySystem was doing the Columbus in-store it would have put it over the top and me & my girlfriend would undoubtly be going to both. Now? I'm still undecided. We'll see because I'll love to see what IPS and P.O.S. are going to do together.
