I'm pretty sure they said before season 2 that it was likely there wouldn't be a season 3.

Yeah, I'm positive they said, even as early as before S2 started that the second season would be their last.

This, I always knew it was only 2 seasons.

that sucks.. i love that show. first season > second season, obviously... but they were both great.

season 2 was rushed, the songs were good but nowhere near as funny as the first season. forget the show, these guys just need to keep writing songs.

yeah, i agree. i was reading somewhere that with season 1 they fit the show around the songs they had for years, but for season 2 they had to come up with songs to fit the plot lines. or something like that.

They need to take a year to write the songs first and built around that like they did with season one. Season two was pretty so-so.
