Which athlete would have had a really big career if it wouldn't have been for injuries slowing them down?

I watch alot of hockey so a couple that come to mind for me are

Pavel Bure, if he had 2 knees that worked he would still be putting up huge numbers today
Petr Forsberg - could have had a huge career had he stayed healthy
Mario lemieux - IMO if he stayed healthy and played as many games as gretzky he would be very close to his records

Those are all i can think of right now.. but what are some players in other sports that could have been a huge star for a long time if they stayed healthy

I would say Griffey is an obvious choice.

Terrell Davis, he tore up the league for about 4 years (superbowl mvp, like 2000yards rushing one year), but then one of his own fat ass linemn fell on his knee and it was never the same

This person already had a pretty big career and continues to be a pretty dominant player, albeit completely disregarded, but I'm going to go ahead and say Grant Hill.

but when he was injured seasons before he was slugging 40+ homers

in 1998 he hit 29 then in 1999 he hit 15

so if he was never injured he might have hit 600
