I don't understand why they chose this "progression." They took the fun, sort of cheesy aspect of their older stuff and just turned the dial on that to the point where it's just not something I'd want to listen to at all anymore.

It's called the record business.

It's not that big of a loss though... But, I did actually enjoy their last EP/album. This, on the other hand; is terrible.

Agreed that it's not a huge loss, it's not like they were ever my favorite band, but I also enjoyed the album and EP. I got a t-shirt when I saw them in concert once and now I'm not sure how I feel about wearing it haha, It's just disappointing when you like a band and try to defend them and then they come out and pull shit like this. I never thought of them as being great artists or anything, but I didn't think their next album would be specifically catered to little girls.
