The funny thing about Alesana is, on paper, they do most things right.

Then somewhere along the line, the music gets sucked into a scenexcore black hole.

I like the shorter track length - both of their prior albums were wildly inconsistent and lasted way too long.

they're still trying? i went to a headline show of theirs and 80% of the audience left after Enter Shikari and Alesana ended up playing to 30 of the 120 or so people that attended. it was a sad sight, regardless of how i feel about their music.
