This really is the most underrated band from recent years. I've been on a huge Blood Brothers kick lately, so this nostalgia post couldn't have come at a better time. Their music is creative and fierce, but their lyrics are what truly set them apart from your run of the mill band. They are greatly missed. Now I'm going to put on some Cecilia and the Silhouette Saloon and enjoy the rest of my day.

It's hard for me to think of a band I dislike as much as this one.
I'm sorry your tiny brain can't handle music this complex.

Cecilia was the first blood brothers song i heard. i was blown away. then i heard "fucking's greatest hits" and "trash flavored trash" and began to faun over the sound. When Young Machetes came out i didn't stop listening to it for months. I still listen to "set fire to the face on fire" almost daily. But all things considered, their entire discography means nothing compared to their live set.

I'm going to put this out there - I love this band. Incredible live as well.

Strange as I was listening to them all yesterday.

The first time I heard Crimes I was super confused by what I was hearing, but I fell in love with it. haha

Never got to see them, but I can definitely imagine how crazy their show was.

Weekend Nostalgia? The Blood Brothers?

Ehm...Ok..

Love the blood bros. Earlier records still blow my mind and the fact that they were on not even one but TWO major label records is such an inspiration and a testament to their impact. Great live band, but they got a bit weird when they released Crimes and it was apparent that they weren't kids anymore. Also, they'll become the fourth band I've tattoed something in reference too in a few weeks.

And AmericanGod is officially the first person I've ever thought "...well, I know I don't know this guy but geez what a waste of life" purely because of his posts. Go complain about not being in the lineup of an internet radio show or take credit for something.

either you love 'em or you hate 'em.

i love these guys....the first time i seen them was on tour with the Used and Taking Back Sunday (when both those bands were still respectable) back in 2002. I had no idea what to think of them...it was just too much for me to process at the time but they really grew on me after a whikle.

All of my friends hate this band.

The Blood Brothers fucking ruled.

Unfortunately, I never got to see them live. How disappointing.

I decided the other day that "Set Fire to the Face On Fire" is one of their best songs.

Amazing band. I use to dislike them because of the vocals and quickly fell in love with their ferocity. They go unmatched in todays music scene.
