Saw them earlier this week at Wiltern. They killed it.

Man why have I not heard of these guys? I'll have to check out their stuff.

i think the first is boring

This is awesome news. I love there debut album. I was also fortunate enough to see these guys live at Roseland in NYC and they were killer.

Absolutely love Homme, but I just can't get into this. Seems way too "Hey guys we're all in other successful bands already, let's start one with each other".

You've got to be kidding me, 2009 sucked worse than 2008, which sucked worse than 2007, which sucked worse than 2006, which sucked worse than 2005, which sucked worse than 2004, but 2003 was alright.

There wasn't ANYTHING released this year that was decent outside of Daisy and Them Crooked Vultures. Unfortunately, I have the opportunity to listen to 8 hours of music a day at work, and I can tell you with full confidence 2009 sucked in music.
