Mark Beasley



Bands love spamming the General forum with their myspace links, but every once in a while, a good one comes along and it receives positive attention by our users. Such was the case with Mark Beasley, a 21 year old singer-songwriter from Chatham, Ontario, a small town close to where I live. Upon seeing his location, I felt compelled to listen to his music, especially since Christmas is approaching. Needless to say, I was extremely surprised by the beautiful harmonies and his adorably mellow voice. I was instantly hooked, as were the rest of our users, and I could not make myself leave his myspace. It was the perfect music to listen to on a relaxing night.

As a huge fan of folk music, I can easily say that he is one of the best unsigned musicians that I have ever come across. If you enjoy music in the vain of Damien Rice, Joshua Radin and Kings of Convenience, then do yourself a favour and listen to his music. He is now offering a free Christmas album right here, so make sure to grab it!

I was totally surprised by this. He has an incredibly soothing voice.

This is fantastic, and I love the Christmas EP! I've been playing it for the last 2 days, haha. Very nice.

that's a fantastic cover, and the christmas EP is also fantastic to listen to.

i've been listening to this guy's xmas album all week. great voice on this dude.
