Pretty much made up for the fact that I hardly paid attention to music last year. Hence why I have posted more news (mainly about the bands listed) this year as well.

I know this part isn't musically related, but sometimes people like to hear it all the same: You are strikingly attractive.

In regards to your list, is it ok to say that I find it a tad Pitchfork-y? Not saying that is a bad thing necessarily, especially since there's no Animal Collective on your list, but a lot of the same albums were on Pitchfork's best of the year as well. Just something I noticed. Then again, I enjoyed a lot of the same albums you do, so I don't mind your list at all.

i like a lot of this list. however, if we're talking EPs, no one's first and you're next by modest mouse may have been the best of the year. whale song, guilty cocker spaniels, king rat. epic, epic, epic.
