Cool list, if only for diversity. I'd say I agree with Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Phoenix, and Thom Yorke. I don't think I've heard any of the others (aside from Brand New, but we won't go there).
18. Brand New: "At the Bottom" Ominous, snarling rock about death and burial and prescription drugs and other cheery topics of that sort. Full of loud/soft crashes, blurry fretwork and a positively crushing chorus, it's feel-bad music for feel-bad times.

I must say that I thoroughly agree with this list, albeit I cannot take one more second of "I Gotta Feelingt." However, I'm in love with mostly all the choices, specifically Wale because I love that track so much. I also love the diversity in Montgomery's list. Mad props.
