Copeland Release Date, Tour Plans, and Website...

Posted by: Tony Pascarella (06/26/06)
Copeland's third album, Eat, Sleep, Repeat will be out on The Militia Group on October 31st. I have included the press release below.
Copeland Press ReleaseIndie-pop favorite Copeland, winners of Yahoo! Music’s “Who’s Next” competition in 2005, prepare to release their third full-length record entitled Eat, Sleep, Repeat. Once-again spearheaded by longtime producer/collaborator/”silent member” Matt Goldman, the album is set for an October 31st release. Copeland’s sophomore release, In Motion, was an instant indication that their already-substantial fan base would only continue to grow. The release made Billboard’s Top 200 and came in at the #1 Spot on the Billboard Alternative New Artist Chart and has since gone on to sell over 100,000 copies worldwide.

While in the studio recording, the band will post exclusive video footage on their Myspace page to give fans a look into Copeland’s record-crating process. Each video will give updates on the writing of the record, as well as Copeland’s experience in the studio. With the posting of new videos, past entries will become podCasts available for download. The videos are located at: www.myspace.com/Copeland

Copeland has created a website to keep their ever-loyal fan base up to date with news and features on Eat, Sleep, Repeat, which is located at: www.eat-sleep-repeat.com

Copeland will be heading back to Japan in August just in time to play the SummerSonic Festival as well as a special club show in Tokyo. In the near future, Copeland are also making plans for another European tour, this time making it to Australia as well. Upon Copeland’s return to the states from Japan, they will be headlining shows in the U.S. with Lovedrug and Action Reaction, subsequently followed by a full-U.S. tour with Jack’s Mannequin, in support of Eat, Sleep, Repeat.

I agree...I liked the title TMG originally sent out in their newsletter, which was "Elegance in Transcience." Seems to fit much better.
