More b-side goodness
Rules
We have the following rules for the topic....basically no:-
*iTunes EP's / iTunes Sessions / iTunes exclusive deals
*Leaks
*Easily bought in-print material (i.e. Ttitle tracks/albums etc)
*Soundtracks/Compilation
*Bside albums
*Tracks from upcoming albums/single title tracks
*Charity tracks - these tend to be frowned on since they are for a good cause so we generally don't post those.
Also if a track appears on a release after it has been posted here we have to then take that track down as it's a no-no.
Obviously everything we post is iffy but we try and at least show some respect to the artist and labels.
If your not sure if something can be posted - PLEASE ASK! We don't bite and it saves you getting chewed out by a regular member.

bsidesrus - A blog run by ten or so members from the forum and is based around this topic so check there before requesting things
Exact Audio Copy - Best cd ripping software that's used by most torrent sites as it gets the best results. Also here is a guide to setting up the software for the best results -

Audacity - Records anything that comes out of your speakers. For example, say you want a song that a band has put up on Purevolume but you don't know any way to get it. Use Audacity as your last resort - just hit record and play the song, and you're good to go. This doesn't just record the song, though - if you click anything or make any other noise on your PC, Audacity will record that, too. Also a very simple audio editing tool.
WinRar - Use this program to open any .rar or .zip files that you can't get open. Mostly all uploads in this thread use the .rar format, so I highly suggest you get it. REMINDER: WINRAR IS FOR PC USERS ONLY! If you're on a Mac, then you'll want to use StuffIt.
7Zip - Basically a free version of winrar.
iTMS Scrubber - Simple software that removes personal details from iTunes music/video. Basically extract the software, copy/paste the iTunes files you want cleaned into the extracted folder and then click on "itms-scrubber" and it cleans the files and puts them into another folder inside of the original extracted folder. Do not upload the notepad files when sharing the cleaned music. Mac version is available which basically has the same instructions ->
