Yeah......not looking forward to. Oh well, our generation still has Casino Royale.
he did direct Jarhead, but I don't know whether or not to count that as an action movie. I'll keep an open mind.

God Dammit. And Daniel Craig was beginning to become my favorite Bond.

A theme by Adele would be pretty awesome.

Also, I wonder if John Cleese is going to return, or rather they are going to ignore the cheesy gadgetry in this one as well.

After re-watching QoS, I think it's because of how good Casino was that it's looked down on. Questionable camera work, but a decent movie. Better than most of the Pierce ones, at least.

I'm pumped for this ... Mendes is a good director, great bad-guy, and Craig is as good of a Bond we could have. I am hoping they give Chris Nolan a shot at a Bond movie one of these days though.

Seems like Nolan really really wants to do a Bond haha.

craig on script problems in the last movie

Time Out: It seems that the script is sometimes an after-thought on huge productions.

Craig: "Yes and you swear that you’ll never get involved with shit like that, and it happens. On “Quantum”, we were fucked. We had the bare bones of a script and then there was a writers’ strike and there was nothing we could do. We couldn’t employ a writer to finish it. I say to myself, “Never again”, but who knows? There was me trying to rewrite scenes – and a writer I am not."

Time Out: You had to rewrite scenes yourself?

Craig: ‘Me and the director [Marc Forster] were the ones allowed to do it. The rules were that you couldn’t employ anyone as a writer, but the actor and director could work on scenes together. We were stuffed. We got away with it, but only just. It was never meant to be as much of a sequel as it was, but it ended up being a sequel, starting where the last one finished.’

Well that explains it...

As much as I love Craig as Bond, I was really only hoping for this one and maybe another to follow so they could then move on to Fassbender.

I was hoping for at least 2-3 more from Craig, then Fassbender would be a fantastic addition.

Loved it. Such a different Bond movie considering it was a movie based on revenge, rather than Bond saving the world and truly rebooted the franchise. I'm going to miss Judie Dench as M. Definitely feels like an end of an era for Bond. I wonder how people are going to react how they have a gay Bond villain.

Had a problem with the komodo dragons. I really don't care that they were CGI, but they are scavengers, not hunters. It would have just bit the guy, and because of all the bacteria in their mouths, it would have just waited for him to die, then it would eat him.
