personally i like don't look down much more than over it and i think re-using siren on the 101 is eally really lame. they should have redone fall haha i love that song. either way i hope this album is 1/2 as good as its getting hyped for.
last band that i listen to that added their single from the previous record to their new release put out an amazing record...yea, Acceptance with "permanent"...although it wasn't their lead single on the new record, it's a good omen for the new Over It disc!
good interview. you keep impressing me with how well you do with these haha. i already liked this band, but now theres a song about lost? thats just the icing on the cake. so many awesome albums coming out over the next few months. the matches, muse, the billy talent album just came out, sugarcult(im hoping its good anyway) and also the new static age ep. an exciting time for me haha
I first saw Over It opening for MXPX & Rufio at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and although their music wasn't my "cup of tea", I was extremely impressed that two of the members (one of which was Nick) were standing outside of the venue as soon as the show was over, passing out flyers themselves. No street team, no independently hired marketing company.
Now, I'm currently on the Warped Tour and every morning Nick is out there putting up more posters than any other performer to promote their set time & stage.
To boot, they are super great guys, very down to earth, and I actually like the new songs they've been playing.
I hope they get main stage next year! They deserve it.
