I didn't even know about the MxPx All Stars - that's pretty cool

ANYWAY - I didn't get into their last album at all. It's strange what he said but true - if they'd have released it under a different name maybe I would have, but it's not what I wanted from an Ataris record. Very interested to see how the new album sounds.

Seeing them next weekend, pumped.

Why are you laughing? It makes total sense. People expect to here a certain type of music from bands. You don't want your favorite band straying from the path of what they have always been good at, then it is disappointing. Yeah little changes here and there are good because you don't want the same thing album after album, but you still expect it to be similar. If the music was released under a different name it would be easier to accept.

Good interview, glad we finally got some good information about the album, and stoked my All Stars question was asked.

Oh dear - I said I couldn't get into it - not that I didn't like it.

At the end of the day it was an Ataris album but it wasn't the Ataris for me.

I figured if you can't get into it you don't like it, haha. My bad. I think it's a good record, just really different from their rest... Kinda like the Untitled blink album, compare that to Enema or Dude Ranch and it's completely different, but still great.
