I agree, I didnt like it at first, it seemed to go abit too commercial compared to papercut chronicles but could see it was the direction they were going in from As cruel as school children but I gave it a few listens recently and really liked it. They get to much hate as a whole, from For the Kids to The Quilt, there are alot of solid songs on every album. I look forward to hearing new stuff from him and GCH. |
but for every "commercial" song like Cookie Jar and Peace Sign, there is a Live A Little and Home that are completely different. The album spans across so many sounds and genres (which I guess is why it's called The Quilt) and that's what I love about it
