The only reason I find this a little more credible than the Emery anthology is because Relient K has more of a vast discography. If you like Emery, you probably have The Weak's End, but if you started listening to Relient K in the past 3 years, you might not have these albums.

I'm not 100% sure on this but their label now is kinda owned by Gotee and in the thank you's for Forget and Not Slow Down Matt thanks TobyMac (owner of Gotee) for letting him take the reins of Mono vs. Stereo. That's why I'm a bit surprised their tweet says that. Gotee is still their boss.

A good question indeed...

The only thing that could make this release interesting enough to consider purchasing is if the five bonus tracks that are included on the CDs are remastered like the rest of the Gold versions. I want a remastered version of "Operation."

I love how when you go to that preorder site, it says that the list price is $18.99, but they've gone ahead and crossed that price out, and instead you can get it at their low price of.....$18.99.

AOTIC was my favorite album for a few years a while back. Solid stuff

I figured a label would do this:

A) When people still bought albums.

B) When Relient K was a relatively hot band. (Keep in mind, I love RK. But their new album isn't exactly flying off of the shelves.)

This just doesn't seem to make sense from any standpoint other than to get rid of the albums.

Gotee didn't tell the band they were gonna release this. Would be nice if the bonus tracks were remastered from the original EP versions. I love Operation.
