I like the song. As soon as I saw Bruno Mars was on this, I pretty much was sold. He's pretty serious.
As for the lyrics, meh, they might be cheesy but they are fun. I agree Travie does much better when he gets serious but it's a nice change of pace. And I'm so relieved that it didn't take the form of a stereotypical rap song that might be called "Billionaire". It might not be gym class but I'll definitely be looking out for the album if he continues to have the fun persona like this.
actually, this reminds me of the fun old school gym class used to kinda do, like "for the kids". beautiful day and eighty-five maybe?
