Save Us For Summer - Let's Do It Right, So We Can Get Better
Record Label: None
Release Date: Dec 17, 2008

Who?

Save Us For Summer is a three piece from Australia consisting of Dan Bali(vocals/guitar), Joshyouare Burton(vocals/guitar), and Matthew Graham(Drums). The band has gain some success throughout Australia, and are currently recording in Georgia with Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (Cartel, Mayday Parade, Every Avenue etc.), bringing their music over to the States.

How is it?

The band's name is a pretty perfect description for their music; Save Us For Summer are making catchy tunes to capture the feelings of summer. The music is all catchy, and pretty poppy. The vocalists do a good job harmonizing with each other on each song, and every song brings in acoustics, electrics, and electronic beats to create a nice blend. The lyrics are pretty generic overall, but not terrible. With Let's Do It Right, So We Get Better, Save Us For Summer has done it, well, right. They have some room to improve, but as the second half of the title says, they're setting out to do just that.

Recommended If You LikeThe Maine; The Friday Night Boys; All Time Low; Hit the Lights

But that's what a review is for.

But that's what a review is for.
What more do you want me to say about the instrumentals? I said what they blend. It's a once over.

Yes, I realize that. But perhaps you could have expanded on them a bit.
Just trying to make suggestions.

Well thanks for the input, but there's honestly not much more to say about it. There's some catchy guitar riffs and such, but overall there's nothing mind blowing or that original about the instrumentals.

Gotcha. Some bands are just like that, haha.
