i used to dislike it when people said 'oh go buy a real guitar instead'

... but instead of learning cliffs of dover people are learning green day songs that they could master by picking up a real guitar for one day.

there is like zero complexity to Green Day songs, save for maybe drumming. I could see this game being super boring.

Pretty stoked to rock out in my living room with this one.

one band rock bands are boring save for the beatles but who serioulsy wants to sit around and play a whole game of just green day or aerosmith or metallica.

looks good..but heres my thing with rock band and guitar hero. With all this amazing graphics how hard would it be to put a strap on the guitar and bass. Rly I am over seeing floating guitars and bass guitars

I don't know, green day has some of the most sing-alongable songs I know, but I agree with drew for the most part about the lack of difficulty on the instrumentation.

Watching the video, there looks to be some intense charts.

I love most of Green Day's material, but i'd rather just play it on real guitar.

plus I work at Best Buy, I can all but guarantee that we will have this on display for months and months and I will hear the same 5 songs being played on it everyday. I will grow to hate it as I do the beatles rockband due to kids with no lives standing around playing video games in my store.
