15) Lost hottie Evangeline Lilly has joined Hugh Jackman in the robot-boxing flick Real Steel. The premise sounds silly, but it's based on a Richard Matheson short story, so maybe it won't be laughably bad.

16) Tthe Wachowski brothers have a new script about a sci-fi war movie with a "hard R" homosexual relationship between two soldiers.

17) Zack Snyder's next movie Suck Punch 3D will be released in regular and IMAX theaters simultaneously on March 25, 2011.

18) Darren Aronofsky and Brad Pitt are teaming together for an adaptation of the upcoming non-fiction novel The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival. Pitt will play a game warden who is at war with a tiger that is attacking humans that are encroaching on its habitat.

Television

01) NBC has canceled Heroes, Law & Order, Trauma, and Mercy.

02) ABC has canceled Scrubs, FlashForward, Better Off Ted, and Romantically Challenged.

03) Matthew Perry has a new comedy called Mr. Sunshine coming to ABC.

04) Comedy Central is done with The Sarah Silverman Program.

05) Chuck has been canceled. April Fools. It's been renewed.

06) I don't care for Family Guy, but at least its creator Seth MacFarlane seems to have his head on straight.

Philip Seymour Hoffman and Robin Wright may be joining Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill in Moneyball. Based on Michael Lewis' nonfiction bestseller "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game," the book's subject is Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane, who assembled a contending baseball club on a shoestring budget by employing a sophisticated computer-based analysis to draft players. Wright would portray Beane's ex-wife.

The film centers on a junior high history teacher (Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man who are forced to rob a bank when one of them is strapped to a bomb vest. (McBride is one of the men looking to score some cash.)
Pena will play a tatooed assassin, while Swardson ("Reno 911") will play McBride's best friend.

Absolutely. There's nothing they can do that will improve upon the Swedish version. The setting, the acting, the whole movie was done amazingly. Even the title of this one is lame.

They definitely got this idea from this whole crazy thing that happened in Erie, PA about 6 or 7 years ago. Some guy was forced to rob a bank because people strapped a bomb to his neck. He had a gun in a cane too. The FBI still hasn't solved the case. It also involves people who kept a body in a freezer. Seriously fucked up shit.

After watching Iron Man 2 again, I really want a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie. And now I'm glad to know that I will get it. Really hope Scarlett Johansson signs on. Thought she did really good acting wise (and she's great eye candy..)

I hate James Cameron. Because he will make 3D continue.

Oh yea! I totally remember that now that you mention. That was honestly one of the weirdest things. Hopefully a movie will make a lot more sense than the media. Also...really stoked that they picked up Chuck for another season. Sad to see Heroes go. And Flashforward. I was really enjoying the show. I need to pick up the book its based on at some point.
