i never had issues with speed, i just stopped making it a weekly ritual to check out whichever bands were featured on the front-page, and just went when 'exclusive' songs were posted, or to check out bands on rare occasion.

i think that had something to do with it- my tastes started evolving, and a lot of the front-page acts may have been beginning to get more and more bland.

their site looks nice, though, and i'm glad to see good old war on the front page. :)

I'm really happy with the Purevolume acquisition. A great concept that fell off for a bit, but their player was always superior (at least for me.)

I saw that too and was pleased haha then I saw what I already mentioned and Sing It Loud and was not pleased. My tastes have changed too much. But yes they have made a pretty good design.

it's disheartening to see hawthorne heights as the big prominently featured band.. both here and there.. did i say that? whoops.. i just never got into them, and aren't really willing to give them a chance.. having an extremely poor first impression of them. (cut my wrists and black my eyes!)

Hawthorne Heights does let down some time but I do still enjoy some songs. Downloaded the new one, have not even listened yet. Not as psyched as I thought. But the ads here and there are prodding me to at least trying. I just feel like Purevolume gets a lot of bands. Feature some good ones
