Strike one was seeing them at Warped. Only did I find out later that As I Lay Dying was playing at the same time. So I missed one of my favorite bands over them. Strike two was the second CD, which was pretty bad. Third was seeing them live again where one of the members climbed the rafters and jumped down into the middle of the pit, breaking his ankle. I realized that they were not good, and that I had definitely outgrown them. I checked out their newest CD....I thought it was boring. Heavy Hangs the Albatross is the best song on the album.

i love alex, sad to see him leave greeley. i wish him nothing but success.

People will claim "musical integrity" or whatever, but maybe Alex is friends with the dudes in Alesana? Maybe he wanted to be in a band that is much much more successful? It is no different than leaving your current job for a better one.

I liked Alex better in Greeley, hope this is temporary. Though he will be making more cash in Alesana. Hope he has a reason and didn't just sell out.
