I thought Attack Attack! took over the whole scene king, but I guess kids still like Alesana

I hated Crystal Castles' new record for about a week. Here's what I did. Listen to the record late at night with headphones on, you're able to hear all the complex effects they added. The songs are really really good (minus birds and violent war, i hate those songs), you just have to let them grow on you.

I'll miss Jake. Never wanted to see any of current members go. They play together so well. Two weeks until Warped for me and seeing the new lineup.

Dennis is up there with the worst live screamers in music with Caleb Shomo of Attack Attack, although Dennis has a good stage presence. The Emptiness sucked as well, their old stuff wasn't as generic

Alesana might not be that good, but they are one of the biggest bands in their "genre".
When you need a job, and you're offered money... why not?
I'm sure this is not what this guy actually WANTED to do to make himself money, but at least it will give him something to do for a while.

Pretty much true. What special message did Greeley Estates have to give? They really weren't too original themselves. It's like, he just jumped from one mediocre band to another. The only difference is that this one probably will make him more money. It's not like either Greeley or Alesana write music that groundbreaking to begin with.

Plus, when you are a musician who has been making music for a while in a semi-known band, and you are going to join another semi-known band who has a few albums under their belts... I really doubt you are doing it for anything other than a job.
