I saw it today. People are skeptical and are saying it's all fake, but I don't really see how or why they'd do some of the things in the movie if it was fake. I can elaborate and spoil a part of it for people if they're interested, but yeah, I think it's a true documentary.
The trailer is very misleading, though. It's not a tense thriller or horror story like it makes you think, but it is a good story. I enjoyed it. |
I just got back from seeing it. It was very different..funny at times; while at other times, I got the exact opposite feeling.
I agree with you all on all parts..it did feel very real.
I'll also agree with you about the trailer; the trailer is very misleading.. some of the people that I went with were not happy with it. It's still resonating with me. I'm still thinking about it though. And I think It's best to not be spoiled, but to not expect what the trailer leads you to believe...if that makes any sense..
it seems that it was marketed as a more of a 'horror' flick (my tickets for the show were black, red, and creepy looking. It is coming out wide in early october (around halloween with all of the other horror films), and the ending of the trailer.....far from it all
