no definitely agree. the play on time is getting annoying, and they are actually revealing a lot. in two episodes, we know that he is being framed through some massive conspiracy. innocent people are getting kidnapped to do random shit. psuedo-aliens exist and are being kept somewhere. there's a massive manhunt for the aliens led by..an alien. etc. in TWO episodes.

the special effects blow. but the chemistry between ritter and roemer imo is definitely there, and thats the crux of the story. and despite its flaws, its kept me intrigued somehow, so i'll keep watching.

little advice, i know you guys know your shoes.

i've decided to treat myself for xmas and get some new running shoes. i've already decided between Nike Free Run+ and Nike Free 7.0's. anyone know the difference or prefer one over the other?

it'll be for light running on the beach, 2-3 miles, couple times a week on mostly pavement and maybe some sand every now and then.

Its got less gore than a common horror film...and basically treated the same way. Its all sound, some flashes, some interesting visual effects, etc. Its possible they tamed it down from early screenings...but, its more the fact that you know the story and you know he is cutting his arm off that makes it bad than the actual visuals and sounds.

watching him drink his own piss, and the visual effects they applied to that, were way grosser. And actually, I'd say the part where he breaks his own arm multiple times, so that when he cuts through the skin and nerve he can be freed, that part is far more disturbing than the actual bloody parts

the cutting of the nerve with the screeching/chalkboardy sound was by far the worst part. even thinking about it still makes me cringe. ugh. the rest of the scenes really aren't that bad though.

sweden is amazing. i stayed in stockholm at a friends house, so I have no experience with the hostels, but the place itself is beautiful. i went to over 10+ places when i studied abroad and stockholm had to be in my top 3. there's not many huge attractions like the other places, but the overall feeling to the city is really chill and friendly. if you are going as a typical spring break, get drunk type of deal, there may be better places, but for pure relaxing, its great. and there are really no unattractive women there, its bizarre.
