I thought the last movie looked good. The cinematography in this one was fucking incredible. The movie was so dark, too. I thought it was fabulous and they ended it at the absolute perfect time. I think Azkaban has finally been dethroned by this for my favorite movie.
I enjoyed it, but, I also have read none of the books...so I get to come in with no expectations beyond what I've already seen.
The young nerds who left the theatre in front of me gave it the "you'd think since they are making two movies they'd have left fewer important parts out" argument, which I hate. I thought it was well filmed, really well acted, and set up the ending quite nicely. I've decided not to go on Friday Nights/times when younger kids can go anymore though...I hate the reaction that came from that crowd. They cheered the opening title....
The Hermoine/Harry naked make-out scene was a welcome surprise as well
Really? They literally left nothing important out from the first half of the book. I was joking about them leaving out a few things that weren't important ( Dudley's goodbye, Pettigrew's "suicide"
), but they split this into two because basically everything in the last book is extremely relevant to the main plot and they delivered in part one.
I thought this sounded so stupid but the trailer has me really excited. Looks awesome. I like the "dark Wild Wild West" description, preppy.
