I definitely put Thrice in the list of bands I love who have yet to disappoint me. I always have a hard time deciding which album is my favorite.

If you already have Hulu Plus/Netflix/etc, then its completely worth it. Also, if you don't already have a laptop/desktop you can hook up to your TV. I use my laptop and hook it up via an HDMI cable to my TV, so I have no use for one, but if I didn't have the laptop I'd have a Roku

Yeah, I use Netflix pretty frequently. I ended up just buying the $80 one right after I posted that, haha. My laptop is currently broken and I probably won't have a new one for a month or so, but, this way my whole family can just watch Netflix on the TV without me having to hook up my laptop. I figure it'll be pretty convenient.

Yep, its definitely convenient. My parents got rid of cable and just use the Roku now

helps to have a high upload speed wherever you have it hooked up for top notch quality.

Sweet. I really want to get one to use in KC when I move there so I can watch Phillies/Flyers/Eagles/Sixers games. I appreciate you letting me use yours for the flyers.

No problem...depending on where you are going to have it hooked up and be accessing from, the HD model is the best one to buy. I know mine, when streaming HD quality picture is running at about 8MB/sec and that strictly depends on the upload speeds where you have the box hooked up as I said (back home or wherever).

I tested mine out a few months ago when I got it hooked up at my new place and have Fios internet and it looks just like you're watching it on an HD Cable/Satellite Box.



Slingbox had a sell a few weeks ago for the HD Models for $199 (Reg $299) so you should be able to find one for that price online somewhere.
