It's purty nice.

Been playing this a lot over the past week. Some really good songs on it, personal favorites are Misery, Never gonna leave this bed, give a little more, I can't lie and just a feeling.

I don't care that they've written the same exact album 3 times now, they've been consistently good for being a radio rock band.

Maroon 5 and 'good' go hand-in-hand. Awesome band.

On that note, I like the CD though not as much as their last.

Songs About Jane is still their best no matter how you put it.

Like them or not, that album cover is excellent. Seriously. Pure cheese, fun, sexy-it'll be on the wall of every 13 year old boy who wants to display a pair of hooters.

Oh, and if you like misery, you'll love this album. Read into that whatever you wish.

I feel like this sounds more like their 2nd album than their first. I thought they said they would be going back to a more "rock" album. This is more over-polished pop like their last album. I mean, it's not bad, but I was hoping for a little more raw sound off of this release. Well, another 4 years til the next album I guess...

This album is a return to a more funk sound, which I greatly welcome. However, the production is still a little slick for me, and therefore the songs all kind of run together for me. The standouts for me are:

Stutter
Misery
Hands All Over (crunchy guitars!)
How
Just a Feeling
Runaway

The biggest fail is the final song, "Out of Goodbyes" with Lady Antebellum. Which is a shame, because the potential is there, but that song just doesn't make contact at all.

There's a deluxe edition at best buy for 12 so hoping to some good bonus tracks.

My expectations for this were lowered after a spotty 2nd record and a bad lead single, but I think this is their best work. Pleasantly surprised.
