Again, not sure why everyone thinks we used auto tune on Ben's voice...it must be because he killed it during the tracking process. But I witnessed every take of every vocal on the record, and no auto was used on his parts. For those saying the delivery is worse, I guess we have different opinions on what good and bad delivery is ... This was the last song we cut the vocals for, and I remember being shocked at how smooth and pretty the parts sounded. The original was recorded a few years ago, and was practically screamed/yelled instead of sung.
Don't mean to get all defensive, I just gotta get my homie's back when people accuse him of the dreaded auto tune accusation.
Oh and by the way, the original DID have auto-tune on it.

Sorry for misreading the quality of his voice! That's awesome that you guys didn't use auto-tune at all. Not even melodyne or anything?
