I agree, I am just glad he took the time to answer these. And also amuse me greatly. Sure Hellogoodbye is not the best band out there but they have fun and make fun music. And most importantly, they really don't care what people think.
I don't listen to their new CD all too much anymore but I will still definitely make it a point to see them live every time they come around because they know how to put on a fun show.

1) The question implies there was some "less than stellar" press from various media outlets. And while the album is not on mediacritic.com for easy access, this seems to be exactly what I remember: some loved it, some didn't. Just like all albums.

Here are some examples of "less than stellar" reviews from just a simple google search.

2) That's a completely untrue statement. The majority of reviews are actually in the 6-8 range (just like HGB's album was). Just because you focus on the glowing reviews we have, doesn't mean the hundreds of others can go unnoticed simply to validate your argument.

i f'in love forrest and HGB. Kudos to him for actually accepting these q's and even more kudos to him for making me laugh.

I haven't seen such loaded q's in an interview since the Cute... one way back when.

he did an awesome job answering the questions and telling the douche bags that thought most of them up what a waste of space they really are.

Tried way too hard to be funny on that, I would've rather had this interview never answered than to have read that.
