That's pretty sad.
Not necessarily that the Beatles were bested by such a bullshit TV show. But because when Lennon made the Jesus comment, people responded by burning Beatles records.

I wish you could burn TV shows, too.

Show is entertaining and fun. Appeals to many different demographics. Makes sense and good for them. I wish that The Beatles would have held those records forever though.
