I love what Brandon's done with Chiodos, he re-ignited my interest in that band...but that Deftones cover does not work.

Admittedly, despite their music not being very complex, they're one of the toughest bands to cover because of the way they've perfected their groove over the years, and playing it straight doesn't do it justice.

i like Atreyu, but whats the point in this, all these songs have been covered a million times before, and these arent that diff either

Interesting. Streaming now. Wasn't ever really a fan of Atreyu, but the guest vocals seem persuasive enough.

Agreed, but if you're gonna tackle that band, you gotta get a singer who can emulate the dude so I focused on that.

Plus, I've made fun of Atreyu enough throughout the tenure of my life, which I never even thought would be possible.

these covers are the worse covers ive ever heard to be honest

I don't like the Volbeat cover, the screaming doesn't work.

haha the deftones cover, it's exactly the same, except a lot worse, embarrassing.

Can really tell how bad the production is in comparison as well, seeing as they are identical.

Why would a band cover a song and not change it in the slightest, I kept waiting for something unique but there was nothing, unless palm muting counts that is.
