I like the concept but it's just not the same TSP from before.
I understand what Nick went through but I feel like he set up a bunch of walls that don't allow him to write from deep within like in previous albums. The essence is there but it feels suppressed.

Man, such a good song. The last EP is amazing. Different from their old stuff but still great.

Just curious but what did he go through that has caused a change in the songwriting? I've noticed a big change but I'm unfamiliar with the story.

I saw an interview with I think TDC media in which he discussed his addiction to drugs. He got over that but he felt too comfortable writing music so when the band went into the studio the producer pushed him to stray away from that.

didnt really dig their other stuff but this is pretty good
