well, it's not so much a recall as it is you fill out a form online and they send you however many new straps you need. so it's win/win

Pretty sweet deal. Less hassle to the consumers, seeing as they don't have to mail back the "recalled" ones.

I think it's funny how you clarified Nintendo as "Japanese game maker," as if people out there don't know what Nintendo does.

Haha. I just copy+pasted this blurb since it was already in news format.

Normally it isn't that hard but now and then (only happened a few times to me) I've awkwardly swung it and lost my grip. For the most part it isn't that hard to hold onto though.

I noticed she had meathooks for hands, and I cant even imagine how hard she was flailing that thing to get it to break the screen.

The ease of access to this recall for the customers is further proof that Nintendo are a shining example of excellent customer service.

Although I do agree that for the most part, the problem with the straps lies with the user and not the machine itself. My friends and I have clocked in hundreds of hours of Wii playtime and have yet to even drop the remote.

I've had a friend get overly exuberant with the remote and managed to hit my ceiling fan, but no slips. I made sure the wrist strap was securely fastened on them.
