V/A - 12 Classic 45's (Ace of Hearts Records)
A very important label for Boston in the late 70's - early 80's. Features my
man David Minehan, and the 'Hoods "Prettiest Girl" that made them rock stars
in New England at age 18.
Bob Dylan - Modern Times - featuring my brother Stu Kimball on guitar.
Harvey Milk - Special Wishes
Melvins - A Senile Animal
Converge - No Heroes - my favorite song is the one first introduced at the
Verge-In recording sessions. It's a guitar riff that sounds like an 8-bit
wonder of the world with giant eyelids crushing everything it blinks at.
Jesu - Silver - A brainquake of M83 being amplified through a Sunn
Thee Electric Bastards- Live! At Club Awesome - Three-part guitarsenal of
the highest song-writing caliber, from the more traditional sense (as in
"Play The Fool") to surprising curves of moodshifting (as in "Terra Nova").
