please stop reviewing this garbage. I know ap is trying to keep an open mind about music and thats awesome... but this is not hip hop... this is rap... over produced, generic, mainstream, no talent bullshit. I'm not saying that you should try to go out of your way to find something underground next best thing... whatever... but this is far cry from anything this site is based on. Young Jeezy? Are you serious?

[Verse 2: Young Jeezy]
The flow's so cold (yup) and I'm so cool (whoa)
Let a ***** try, I'mma act a damn fool (ay)
Got that welfare, we call it old school
Then we mix it all up, call it Pro Tools (haha)
Serve em demo tracks (tracks) let em demo that (yeah)
All these bitches in the club, where the bad ones at? (huh)
She got a mean walk (walk) I got a big stick (yeah)
I see ya muggin homie, I got a full clip (yeeeeeeah)
See I master that, and then I mastered this
Then I bring it all back, I gotta master wrist
I was on dro (dro) and she was on Hen (Hen)
She was on her, and I was zonin (let's get it)

Lyrics like that got this album an 8 for lyrical content? Give me a fucking break. This is a joke. I would rather have ap stick to its roots than have to see shit like this pop up on the news bulliton every couple weeks. So many other deserving hip hop artists out there... stick to true hip hop or dont even go there because this is complete garbage...

In rap, lyricsd are generally noted for their ability to rhyme and weave a story, not on a message sent. It's more about being clever than deep.

true, but why listen to someone who spits nursery rhymes in a "clever" way, when you can listen to people who spit meaningful lines with more creativity. If you think Jeezy's rapping is clever by any means then you're a novice to the rap game. I equate this album to disco, at the time it's what everyone likes to dance and party to, but in a few years it'll be meaningless...

I'd say you only like certain forms of rap, the socially aware kinds.

Meaningful is only fun once in a while. I love Mos and Kweli and Common and all those conscious rappers . All of them have at least 2 albums I love, but there is something about rap like this that also has its merits.

everyone on this site is such a whiny bitch.

especially the moron who tried to say hip hop and rap are different types of music.

sorry dumbass... "Rap is what you do, Hip Hop is who you are" - KRS-One

go home.

I tend to agree, the words are interchangeable.
