Two years ago, I picked Mariage Blanc to be featured on our Self-Promotion Spotlight because I was immediately drawn to their lush indie pop sound. A couple of months ago, I was surprised - yet extremely happy - to see that they were promoting a full length through Team Clermont. They are something special, and you can now steam their self-titled album that drops next week on their AP.net profile. If you enjoy music by Jeremy Messersmith, Steel Train or even The Shins, then you might just fall in love with these guys. Some of the songs remind me of Elliott Smith, so that's the best compliment I could ever give a band. I hope you guys like them because this is my favourite unsigned release of 2010. Just incredible.
