Yeah, Madina Lake aren't as good as I've heard people say they are.

Well I personally can't wait for Madina's full-length to come out. Their EP is great. I'm sure they're generic "emo" to a lot of people, but I enjoyed them in their previous incarnation as The Blank Theory, and I like the guys voice.

Is that seriously neccesary? They dont wear any lame makeup like Aiden, and at least they sound pretty good live, unlike MCR.

don't really think mcr is bad live, but i do agree about ml. nathan's voice is far better than either and can't really even be put into the same sentence as aiden. he is a sweet dude though.

I know it's already been explained, but....have you even listened to the band? You don't know what you're talking about. Besides, MCR and Aiden aren't really even that alike, makeup aside maybe.

It's a shame GCH went to shit with their new album because TPC was awesome. I find it interesting that Travis ranted about shitty mainstream hip hop when I saw them live but now their music sounds like just that... check that, a combination of shitty mainstream hip-hop and Fall Out Boy. What the hell happened?

madina lake is like a lot of other bands, but who cares. they love the music they write, and i do too :)

Yes I have; I'm a music director at a college radio station and listen to everything I get sent, including their album. And guess what it said in bold print on the onesheet I got for the album?

Have you heard the entire album? I'm interested on impressions. I don't think they have a similar style to those bands, but maybe thats just what they get categorized as? I've heard them compared to another band that made more sense but I can't remember what it was now.
