I saw these guys with A Day To Remember last sunday. They aight.

I don't get the point of doing the review like that

I blew this release off after hearing the first song. It seemed to be the same cookie cutter, generic bullshit every other 'screamo' band is trying to pull off these days. But your review make it seems as though there is a bit more to it than that. I'll resurrect it from the grave just for today.

Totally agree with musicenthusiast. You got the exact point across that I was hoping to, but ultimately did not have time to write out. Now that I have a little more time, here are my comments. Being a reviewer, I prefer to not write about how the guitars sound here vs how the guitars sound there. It ultimately seems pointless to me. Giving recommendations about which songs are quality, who would like the band, and a general idea of how the band sounds is of value, but let's face it: if you want to know what the band sounds like, go check them out. I think every user of this site is capable of finding a clip, stream or mp3 of a given band on the web. If you're a fan of the band already, why make a fuss about a score or a particular review? Go listen to the band you love. /rant

Look at the first paragraph. If you wrote something like that for a professional media outlet, an editor would rip your ass in half for wasting their time reading that garbage.

i don't think any of our other reviewers would want to be lumped in with me in terms of writing. And yeah, there is no editing or second glances, other than those that I give to the review. But this is how I intended it to come out, and I like it. At least you have an opinion about it, and hopefully can leverage that against the record - as opposed to just letting this wash off you without giving it a second thought. So maybe I win by you thinking that I lose? I don't know. Writing is weird.

haha loved this review. the screams are very "angry" i really wish telle would have stayed in greeley estates. his screaming would have been tremendous with ryan's higher range. but i know telle wanted to be a frontman again so whatever. good for him.

Fairly enjoyed this release. Definitely in the better half. and the blessthefall comparison works pretty well.
