So so good. I don't mind the length Rufio did an EP like this (it would be cool to have acoustic verisons of both songs as well) and a lot of artists do these days to promote an upcoming release. I'm just happy to get a couple new songs. Well at least one new song with the "The Graveyard Of The Atlantic."
all souls day is as old as jesus and the other track on that uh.... "ep" is pretty bad. i want to be stoked for this apparent new album, i really do, but these constant delays and mediocre songs aren't exactly filling me with confidence. i still love the ataris, and always will, i'm just becoming less and less excited about potential new material.
The Ataris make me incredibly nostalgic. My grade 12 year book quote was "Being grown up....." I will always love them, but I don't think they'll ever recapture the magic they had on Blue Skies, Forever, and Astoria. But who knows, maybe they'll surprise me. I can hope.
First song sounds like the best parts of So Long Astoria which is sweet. Second song is good, as well, sounds more like Welcome the Night at least in terms of how he's doing that "dressed up" singing style or however you want to describe it.
