People like this album less than My Dinosaur Life? Really?

i LOVE this album. Similarly i never understood why it is considered their worst album, it is at least on par with their previous work.

I agree whole heartedy with everything, this is my favourite MCS album and Even it Kills Me maybe be one of the strongest tracks they have ever wrote.

i never understood the hate for this album. They didn't abandon their sound by any means. i agree with the piebald and weezer comparisons on this cd which is a great thing. while i agree it wasnt as easy to get into as cttm i enjoy this is just as much as i do cttm and iatm.

A different take for a review, but I like how you say everything casually. Also, The Conversation is on another level for me.

Agreed with every point, especially "Fell in Love...," "Last Night" and "Even if it Kills Me," the last of which pulled me through some really difficult stuff.

personally didn't care much for the album at first, but then it eventually grew on me and i like it now.

on the other hand, i didn't like my dinosaur life on first listen and after about 10 listens. . .i STILL do not like that album. it sounds very derivative and to me a step backward even more so then EIIKM. definitely my biggest disapointment of 2010 along with the new JEW album

"commit this to memory" will always be their masterpiece because every single song is written and crafted perfectly and has what "my dinosaur life" and some of what "EIIKM" lacked. . .emotion with a touch of angst

EIIKM > CTTM > IATM > MDL

i really like them all :) i love EIIKM and MDL has a side of MCS thaat i really like (the weakends, lifeless, stand to,pulp and skin n bones) i would love to have a darker cd by them, would be something refreshing
