Oh man, The Hazards of Love as a musical (I have to assume that's the plan) would be crazy awesome. I'd be there in a heartbeat. Love this band so much.

Colin did state he had some experience in theatre, but even after reading the interview, I can't see this doing well. Especially not after Green Day and numerous bands doing the same thing. Didn't Ted Leo made fun of this stupid idea?

Yes, this definitely would work. They did a one-off "Hazards of Love: Visualized" show that integrated their music with visuals from four different filmmakers, and it was stunning. Trailer:



Seeing something like that, live, would be amazing.
