I saw someone dressed JUST like the steam punk image yesterday in my statics final. This site is sometimes so accurate it's crazy. I didn't realize it was called "steampunk", though. I used to be decently into anime, and this whole genre was known as "neo victorian", as plenty of anime's display futuristic technology yet display some victorian aspects, such as the widespread use of trains, zeppelins, clothing style, etc.
I guess once it's translated from cosplay into real life it's "steampunk".
I love on how "how to dress emo" page they have under playlist "Underoath, Saosin, Copeland, Armour for Sleep"...I love all those bands. Haha.
