I've worked at pizza places for 4 years..not one would have ever believed this was legit. Dunno why they would actually make 178 pizzas without the dude coming in and paying first haha

$4,000 seems pretty expensive for 178 pizzas

I guess it was because he had the backstage pass and was disguised... it couldn't have been that ridiculous to believe him.

That's around $22 a pop plus tax, not too crazy. If you order extra-large pizzas with toppings/extra cheese/special crusts... that'll get the price up there even at a chain like Papa John's or Domino's, let alone a small family-owned place.

Plus he's probably paying more than the value of the pizzas/tax/tip alone in lieu of punitive damages.
